Born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan and having lived in Lebanon, London and now residing here in California along with spending quite some time in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, Chef Adenwala has gained a knowledge base of world cuisine leaves no palate unsatisfied.
After working in different restaurant kitchens for many years, Chef Adenwala finally decided to follow his heart and obtained his formal culinary education in order to realize his dreams of running his own establishment.
Having gained additional experience through various accounting and management positions outside the culinary industry and with finally having all the necessary tools and credentials to run his own company, Chef Adenwala took his passion for creating artistic & delicious food and in November of 2007 launched Le Gourmet Privé.
Education
Chef Adenwala obtained his formal culinary education, is a graduate and active Alumni at Le Cordon Bleu North America, where he received honors, his Associates in Occupational Studies (AOS) degree and his Culinary
Diplomé in "Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts."
Chef Adenwala also holds AA and AS degrees n Business Administration and Management and is currently working on his BA in Culinary Management.
Certifications and Professional Associations
"Serve Safe" Food Handler's Certification through the National Restaurant Association.
Certified in CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross.
Active member of the American Culinary Federation.

Culinary Background
Cooking since the age of 13, Chef Adenwala has always had a passion for food. Having traveled throughout Asia, Europe, North America and the Caribbean, Chef Adenwala has built up an extensive arsenal of culinary experiences, knowledge, flavour profiles and recipes which he draws upon every day.
