Here are some questions that we get all the time.
What is the difference between a "Catering Company" and one that offers "Personal Chef Services?"
Catering companies tend to work events for hundreds or thousands of guests where as Personal Chefs focus their attention on smaller events so that each guest is given the utmost attention. Catering companies also tend to only offer Catering services where as with a Personal Chef, you get so much more. See our Services Offered page.
What exactly is a Personal Chef?
A Personal Chef is someone who will come into your home and do the cooking right there on the spot. Whether it is for an intimate dinner for two, a teaching party or private one-on-one culinary instructions, it is all done in the privacy and comfort of your home.
What is the difference between a Personal Chef and a Private Chef?
According to the American Personal and Private Chef Association a private chef is employed by one individual or family full time, and often lives in, preparing up to three meals per day. A personal chef serves several clients, usually one per day, and provides multiple meals that are custom-designed for the clients’ particular requests and requirements. These meals are packaged and stored, so that the client may enjoy them at his or her leisure in the future.

What sort of menu offerings do you have?
Since Le Gourmet Privé offers such a vast variety of services, the only limiting factor is your imagination. Every menu is fully customizable and developed based upon your personal taste and specific dietary requirements. Chef Adenwala has an a vast array of recipes and develops more each day. He will even prepare your favorite family recipe or comfort food. Specializing in nutrition, Chef Adenwala can also provide a wide variety of meals ranging from low fat and low sodium, gluten free and sugar free as well as vegetarian, vegan, organic and gourmet. Do I have to supply any cookware, utensils or containers?
If you prefer to have your own cookware or utensils used, we will by all means do so. But have no fear, we will provide everything required to prepare your meals. Should you be having meals created for a later date, they will all be appropriately packaged in the proper containers and the chef will leave you with all the necessary heating instructions.
Can I use your service at parties?
Absolutely. We offer small event catering, intimate affairs, teaching parties, traditional English Tea parties or anything else you can think of. We have found that themed parties are a favorite of our clientèle.
